There are many miles of bike trails through stunning scenery to enjoy - forest, lochs, rivers, mountains, countryside and moorland, all within reach. If you can’t take your bike with you, bike rental is available locally.

Winter sports

Hiking, climbing, ski touring and mountain skills training are all popular winter activities. Please note that skiing on Cairngorm mountain has reduced capability at the moment due to structural problems with the funicular railway.

Wildlife

BBC TV programme ‘Springwatch’ based one of their wildlife TV shows in the area - and with good reason too. The National Park is haven for all kinds of wildlife, some of which are endangered.
